Jeffrey Carroll found himself open, and made a three less than a minute later make it 70-57.

In the first half, Oklahoma State got a good start from Evans.
Evans followed a layup with a quick steal, and hit both free throws after the foul to cut the Kansas State lead to 16-11 with 12:30 remaining until halftime.
The Cowboys trailed 18-11 at the second media timeout, but an Evans corner three the first possession out of the huddle made it a four-point game. He scored seven of the team's first 14 points.
A Tavarius Shine layup and free throw made it 22-17 with 9:14 until halftime, but the Wildcats followed with a run of their own to extend the lead.
