Oklahoma State University Athletics
Office of Athletics Compliance
It is the mission of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at Oklahoma State University to provide student-athletes with excellent opportunities to compete and win at the highest levels of college sports; to prepare student-athletes for lifelong contributions to society; to embrace equality, educational opportunity and diversity; to operate with fiscal integrity and compliance with NCAA, Big 12 Conference, and university guidelines; and to be a positive influence on the reputation and purposes of Oklahoma State University.
Oklahoma State University is committed to the principle of institutional control and operating our athletics program in a way that is consistent with the letter and spirit of NCAA, Big 12 and University rules and regulations. Therefore, it is vitally important that we all do our part to learn and abide by the rules that impact Oklahoma State's recruits, student-athletes, coaches, and boosters.
Everyone involved in intercollegiate athletics has an obligation to operate in full compliance with the rules; and to report any violations of NCAA, conference and/or institutional rules of which he or she is aware.
The compliance information on our website is provided as a reference to help you better understand the framework of the rules. By no means is this meant to be an exhaustive list, so please contact the compliance office if you have questions concerning situations that are not addressed. The athletic department appreciates your interest and support, but reminds you that an inappropriate contact or action on your part can jeopardize the eligibility of our prospects and student-athletes, as well as our reputation.
