2015-16 (Sophomore season)
• Led OSU with 118 total assists on the season, and his 3.9 assists per game ranked sixth among all Big 12 players.
• Posted a 2.27 assist-to-turnover ratio, which led OSU and ranked fifth in the Big 12.
• Tallied a 12-assist game at Kansas on a rolled ankle, which are the most by any Cowboy since John Lucas had 13 against SMU in 2004.
• Took over the starting PG role for the injured Jawun Evans, and ended up averaging 4.19 assists per Big 12 game, which ranked fifth in the league.
• Started 15 games and saw action in 30 outings.
• Scored a career-high 18 points, along with five assists and three steals in a loss to Kansas State.
• Also tallied 10 assists against Kansas State in the Big 12 Championship opener.
• Made crucial free throws down the stretch at Auburn, shooting eight-for-nine from the line in the win.
• Recorded five assists at Iowa State, totaling eight games of five or more assists on the season.
2014-15 (Freshman season)
• Ranked fifth on the team with 34 total assists.
• At 1.54, Griffin was second only to Anthony Hickey (2.18 A/TO) in assist-to-turnover ratio.
• Proved a capable free throw shooter at 73.9 percent.
• Reached double figures in scoring twice, including an 11 point outing against Prairie View A&M.
• Also scored 10 points at Texas Tech in his lone start of the year.
• Tallied seven multi-assist games, including a season-best four dimes in the season opener.
• One of six Cowboys to see action in all 32 games.
High School
• Was named the Large Schools Player of the Year by The Times-Picayune as a senior.
• Was also the top-rated player in the state of Louisiana according to NOLA.com's "Terrific 20".
• Named the MVP of District 10-4A.
• Scored 15 points, dished out six assists and grabbed four rebounds in the Class 4A state championship game, leading the Landry-Walker Chargin' Buccaneers (finished 35-5) to the title with a 76-56 win over East Jefferson.
• Was named the Most Outstanding Player of the state tournament.
• Recorded 25 points and six assists in the semifinals.
• Was a three-time All-Metro selection by The Times-Picayune (2012-14).
• Was a four-time all-district selection (2011-14).
• Was named the District Player of the Year three-straight seasons (District 9-4A in 2012 and `13; District 10-4A in 2014).
• Scoring averages were: 17.2 points, six assists and 5.6 rebounds per game as a senior; 17.5 points, seven assists and 6.3 rebounds as a junior; 15.5 points per game as a sophomore.
• Led his team to the state semifinals in 2012 and the state quarterfinals in 2013 (finished 28-7).
• A three-star recruit according to Rivals.com, chose Oklahoma State over LSU, West Virginia, Texas A&M, UTEP, Louisiana-Lafayette, Middle Tennessee State, New Orleans and South Alabama.
Personal
• Born May 29, 1996, Tyree is the son of Tyra Griffin and Bo McCalebb, Sr. He has an older brother, Bo McCalebb, Jr., a younger sister, Aalyiah, and a younger brother, Tyrin. Bo Jr. played collegiately at New Orleans and was the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year in 2007. He's played professionally overseas since 2008. Tyree is undecided on his major at Oklahoma State.
