• Career/Season Statistics
2016-17 (Senior Season)
• Only player to start all 33 games in 2016-17.
• Ranked third on the squad with 4.9 rebounds and fourth with 8.1 points per game as a senior.
• Posted a pair of double-doubles on the year, including an 18-point, 10-rebound performance in the win at Kansas State.
• Racked up 12 double-digit scoring performances as a senior, which upped his career total to 30 games with at least 10 points.
• Increased his shooting efficiency for a fourth straight season. Hammonds shot 43.6 percent from the floor and 34.3 percent from 3-point in 2016-17.
• Led OSU to a road win at TCU thanks to a 21-point outing on 8-of-13 (.615) shooting, including a 5-of-8 (.625) mark from 3-point.

2015-16 (Junior Season)
• Led the Cowboys with 5.1 rebounds per game, which ranked 18th among all Big 12 players.
• Hit 1.39 3-pointers per game, which led the Cowboys and ranked 15th in the Big 12.
• Shot a team-high 44.2 percent from the floor in league play, which ranked 11th among all players that made at least four shots per game.
• Recorded three 20-point scoring games, including a career-high 22 points in the win over Longwood. In that game, Hammonds started 10-of-10 from the free throw line before missing No. 11 (went on to go 11-of-12 from the stripe).
• Scored a game-high 20 points on 9-of-15 shooting against Texas in the regular season finale.
• Quadrupled his scoring, rebounding, assist and steal outputs from his sophomore season.
• Started 24 games and played in 28 games for the Cowboys.
• 15 of his 18 double-digit scoring games came in 2015-16.

• Enters his junior season with a respectable career 3-point percentage of 28.9 (24-of-83).
• Twelve of his 27 rebounds came on the offensive glass.
• Finished his sophomore season with averages of 2.3 points and 1.0 rebounds per game.

• Hit a buzzer-beating three-point shot at the end of regulation to send the game at Baylor into overtime.
• Grabbed a career-high seven rebounds against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
• Scored six points in 18 minutes against Texas Tech in the first round of the Big 12 Championship.
Summer of 2013
• Scored 15 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the field, 2-of-6 from long range and 3-of-4 from the line in the THSCA All-Star game on July 29.
• Also recorded three rebounds, two assists, two steals and took a charge.
• Won the dunk competition during halftime of the game.
• scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the Faith 7 game in Shawnee on June 8.
• Connected on all six free-throw attempts.
High School
• Averaged 20.3 points and 10.4 rebounds per game as a senior.
• Ranked third in scoring and fourth in rebounding among the area Class 5A players in the DFW metroplex.
• Was a first-team All-State Class 5A selection by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches in 2013.

Personal
• Born Sept. 26, 1994, Leyton is the son of Lisa and John Hammonds. He has an older brother, Justin, who played basketball at the Air Force Academy, and is currently serving our country in the Air Force. Leyton enjoys listening to music in his spare time. The first sport he played was soccer, and to this day, he is a huge soccer fan. Leyton is majoring in business management at Oklahoma State.
