2016-17: Went 3-5 overall in his senior season at 133 pounds, competing in three events … recorded two tech falls on the season … Competed at the Reno Tournament of Champions … Finished third at the OCU Open, recording a 17-1 tech fall over Wayland Baptist’s Demarco Speller in the third-place match … Also competed in the Outlaw Open … Was named to the Big 12 All-Academic team.
2015-16: Went 0-4 at 141 pounds … Competed at the OCU and Oklahoma opens.
2014-15: Tallied a 1-4 mark on the year … Defeated Travis Rodenburg of Newman, 8-7, at the OCU Open … Also competed in the Oklahoma Open.
2013-14: Finished his redshirt freshman year with a 10-4 record ... Won his bracket at the Oklahoma Open ... Placed second at the OCU Open, falling to teammate Dean Heil in the finals ... Finished third at the Bixby Open ... Notched four wins with bonus points.
2012-13 (Redshirt Year): Earned four wins, competing in open tournaments … Two of his wins came in the form of falls over Traven Romero and David Overt at the Oklahoma Open, where he finished in fourth place … His other two wins came at the OCU Open … Also made appearances at the UCM and Lindenwood opens.
High School: Attended Goddard High School in Goddard, Kan., where he put together a 129-26 record ... Was a four-time state qualifier and produced a runner-up finish his senior year ... Personal: Born on July 7, 1993 to Randy and Joni Lemon ... Plans to major in molecular biology ... Has two siblings, Merideth and Lauren ... He is the great-great-grandson of Ed Gallagher, who competed in track and football at Oklahoma A&M and was the head wrestling coach for the Aggies from 1916-1940 ... Lemon’s great-grandfather Kenneth Gallagher was a track letter winner from 1933-34 and a football letter winner from 1934-35 at Oklahoma A&M ... His father, Randy Lemon, was a wrestling letter winner at OSU in 1987 ... His mother, Joni Lemon, was an all-conference track and cross country athlete at Hutch Junior College before graduating from Oklahoma State.
