2017-18: Went 13-4 overall and 3-2 in dual matches in his first season competing for the Cowboys … Turned in five falls, two tech falls and two major decisions … Started the first five matches of the season for OSU, helping the Cowboys to wins over North Dakota State, Minnesota and Northern Colorado … Recorded a fall over No. 17 Ronnie Perry of Lock Haven and an 8-1 win over No. 4 Solomon Chishko of Virginia Tech to finish first at 149 pounds at the Journeymen Classic … Took second at the Bob Smith Open … Finished third at the OCU Open … Named to the second team of the All-Big 12 Academic Team.
