2018-19: In his first season at OSU, went 9-6, competing at 157 and 165 pounds over the course of the season… Pinned Colten Carlson in his first dual match of the year at South Dakota State… Lost only two matches competing at 157 pounds, one to No. 11 Steve Bleise of Minnesota… Rebounded from the loss with a win over No. 19 Dewey Krueger (Wyoming) in his first dual bout inside Gallagher-Iba Arena… Stepped in at 165 pounds beginning in January in place of injured Cowboy Chandler Rogers.
2017-18: Went 29-8 in his sophomore campaign and 13-0 in dual matches at 157 pounds … Recorded one fall, eight technical falls and seven major decisions … Defeated No. 16 B.J. Clagon (Rider) in a 4-3 decision … Took home fifth-place honors from the Eastern Michigan Open … Won the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championships and finished runner-up at the Eastern Wrestling League Championships … Finished in the round of 32 at the NCAA Championships
2016-17: Posted an 18-5 record competing at 157 pounds … Had one fall, six technical falls and two major decisions … Captured second place at the Southeast Open (freshman & sophomore division) and the Edinboro Open … Took home third place finishes in the Michigan State and Cleveland State Opens … Went 6-1 at Michigan State Open, losing his second round match, then running off five straight wins.
2015-16 (Redshirt Year): Finished with an 11-10 record competing in open tournaments at 157 pounds. … Had four major decisions … Went 3-2 at EMU Open, and 2-2 at Clarion Open, Mat Town Open, CSU Open and Edinboro Open.
High School: Was a three-time New York state qualifier and two-time finalist while wrestling for head coach Jon Hoover at Lewiston-Porter High School… Worked with former Edinboro assistant Kyle Cerminara… Bolstered a 205-32 career record… Placed second at the NYSPHSAA Division II State Championships at 152 pounds finishing the year with a 52-2 record… As a junior, put together a 48-8 record… Placed second at 145 pounds, falling to Alex Herringshaw of Holland Patent in the finals, after winning the District 6 championship… Went 49-3 as a sophomore, qualifying for the state championships at 113 pounds.
