2018-19: In his senior campaign went 17-2 for the Cowboys with seven dual wins… Pinned his way to an OCU Open title to start the season… Notched a fall and a major decision in season-opening road duals at South Dakota State and Minnesota… Claimed top honors at the Reno Tournament of Champions where he collected four pins and a technical fall… Won first and second round falls at the Southern Scuffle before dropping a match to would-be All-American Chance Marstellar and succumbing to an injury that sidelined him for more than a month… Finished his Cowboy career with a pin against Iowa’s Mitch Bowman on Feb. 24 inside Gallagher-Iba.
2017-18: Went 24-6 overall at 165 pounds and 11-2 in duals … Scored 49 dual points in his 13 starts for the Cowboys … Knocked off six ranked opponents … Led the Cowboys with 11 falls as a junior … Also turned in a technical fall and major decision … Earned his second All-America honor after being selected as the No. 8 seed at the NCAA Championships … Lost in the first round of the national tournament and battled his way back with wins over No. 4 Chad Walsh (Rider), No. 7 Logan Massa (Michigan) and No. 15 Anthony Valencia (Arizona State) to finish eighth … Won his first Big 12 Championship at 165 pounds, defeating No. 20 Andrew Fogarty of North Dakota State in the finals …. 2016-17: Went 25-8 overall at 165 pounds with a 10-5 dual mark … Led the team in falls with 11, to go along with four major decisions and a technical fall … Earned his first All-America honor, going 5-2 to finish fifth at 165 pounds … Recorded ranked wins over No. 8 Dylan Cottrell of West Virginia, No. 11 Bryce Steiert of Northern Iowa, No. 5 Chad Walsh of Rider and No. 6 Daniel Lewis of Missouri … Finished second at the Big 12 Championships … Notched a third-period pin of No. 10 Yoanse Mejias of Oklahoma in the Stillwater Bedlam dual … Pinned No. 4 Daniel Lewis to cap off a Southern Scuffle in which he went 5-0 with two falls, a tech fall and a major decision to claim the title at 165 … Added 44 dual points for the Cowboys … Posted 10 wins over ranked foes as a sophomore ...
