2022 Fall (Graduate Season)
• Posted a stroke average of 71.33 through her first 12 rounds of the season, third-best on the team.
• Fired eight par-or-better rounds in 4 tournaments during the fall, second-most among the Cowgirls.
• Closed the season strong with a 7th-place finish at the Jim West Challenge with rounds of 68-70-74 (-4) 212, her second top-10 finish of the season.
• In San Marcos, she led the field in par-3 scoring at 1-under, and was also 7-under on par-5 holes.
• Was even-par across the board at the Illini Invitational, posting 3 consecutive rounds 72 to finish tied for 40th.
• Recorded rounds of 73-67-73 (+3) 213 to finish tied for 38th at the Schooner Fall Classic.
• Opened the season with a 6th-place finish at the Carmel Cup. She was one of just eight players to end the weekend under-par after shooting rounds of 69-74-72 (-1) 215.
• There, she sinked a hole-in-one on hole No. 7 in the final round at Pebble Beach Golf Links.
• Her first round 69 at the Carmel Cup was tied for the fourth-lowest 18-hole score of the weekend.
2021-22 (Senior Season)
• Inserted into the starting lineup during the spring season and had a career-best run.
• Recorded three straight top-10 finishes at the ICON Invitational, VyStar Gator Invitational and the Mountain View Collegiate.
• Carded five consecutive sub-70 rounds throughout tournament play in March.
• Finished 2nd at the VyStar Gator Invitational after a career-best 54-hole score of 204. The mark was the lowest 54-hole score by anybody on the team for the season, and was tied for the sixth-lowest in school history.
• Her performance at the VyStar Gator Invitational also included a second round 66, the lowest 18-hole score of her career. That score was also tied for the lowest score in a singular round by a Cowgirl on the season.
• Finished 3rd at the Big 12 Championship with rounds of 74-75-68 (+4) 217. Her 68 in the final round was tied for the lowest 18-hole score in the entire tournament.
• Led the Big 12 Championship in par-3 scoring with an average of 2.87.
• Was a consistent presence at the NCAA Stillwater Regional, finishing top-25 with rounds of 74-76-74 (+8) 224 at the always challenging Karsten Creek GC.
• Yu earned a stroke average of 72.83, by far the lowest mark of her career and third-lowest on the team.
• Had a mark of 1.33 vs. par on the season.
• Two weeks after her career outing at the VyStar Gator Invitational, Yu followed it up with a 209 at the Mountain View Collegiate, the second lowest 54-hole score of her career.
• Went undefeated at the Red Raider Match Play, defeating opponents from Tulsa, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma.
• Despite only starting in the spring, she carded six rounds in the 60’s and 12 rounds of par-or-better. Her six rounds in the 60’s was tied for second-most on the team.
2020-21 (Junior Season)
• Finished the season with a scoring average of 73.53, the sixth highest on the team.
• Her best outing came at the Bruzzy, finishing tied for 9th due to rounds of 73-70-72 (-1) 215. Her 54-hole score was her best mark since the first tournament of her career, where she shot a career-low 214.
• Started for the Cowgirls in the Big 12 Championship, helping the team to a record-breaking performance with a first round 72 and third round 70.
• Played 19 rounds on the season, good for seventh-most on the team. She also appeared in eight tournaments overall.
• Made an appearance for the team at the NCAA Stanford Regional.
• Recorded 10 rounds of par or better, despite only appearing in the spring season.
• Carded four rounds of 70 on the season, her lowest total of the year and only three strokes behind her career-low set as a sophomore.
2019-20 (Sophomore Season)
• Earned her first career All-American Scholar award from the WGCA.
• Posted a 4.80 scoring average on par-5 holes, which is the fourth-best mark in Cowgirl golf history.
• The sophomore posted a 73.76 overall scoring average, which improved from her freshman season by nearly an entire stroke.
• Tallied two top-10 finishes on the season, with her best finish coming in a tie for 8th-place at the Trinity Forest Invitational.
• The recreational management major was one of five Cowgirls to earn Academic All-Big 12 honors in 2020.
• Eight of her 21 rounds on the season par-or-better, including a season-best 5-under 67 in the final round of the UCF Challenge that tied for the second-lowest round by a Cowgirl in 2020.
• Posted two top-10 finishes, including a 9th-place finish in a competitive field at the Betsy Rawls Invitational, where she carded a pair of under par rounds.
• Her first round average score of 71.50 ranks No. 62 in the country, which includes her low round score of 69 in the Windy City Collegiate Classic.
2018-19 (Freshman Season)
• Led the Cowgirls with a 74.62 stroke average and a 2.90 to-par average as a freshman in 2019.
• Ended the season ranked No. 128 in the GolfStat Top-250.
• Became eligible for competition in the spring and earned a spot in the starting lineup in every event.
• Posted a pair of top-5 finishes, including a 4th-place finish in her first collegiate event thanks to rounds of 72-71-71 (+3) 214 at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge.
• Also helped the Cowgirls claim victory in the Anuenue Spring Break Classic with a 2nd-place finish.
• Earned a top-20 finish at the NCAA Regional in Norman where she posted her best round of the season – a second round 68. That round tied for the lowest by a Cowgirl in 2019.
• Tied for the team lead with five rounds par-or-better in 2019.
Prior to Oklahoma State
• Yu competed in over a dozen professional events all over the globe, including the Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic, the Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific Championship and the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open.
• Advanced to the match-play semifinals of the Australian Women’s Amateur Championship in 2017.
• Shot 71-74-75 at the Kenda Tires TLPGA Open in Taiwan, and carded a final-round 69 at the 2017 Swinging Skirts AJGA Invitational.
• Joined fellow Taipei native Chih-Min Chen on the Cowgirl roster. Chen was the 2016 Big 12 Freshman of the Year and a 2018 All-Big 12 and All-Big 12 Tournament selection.
Personal
• Is the daughter of Chung-Ching Yu and Yu-Yun Liu.
• Has one brother, Chun-An Yu, who played golf at Arizona State for four years and is now on the PGA Tour.
• Is currently majoring in recreational management at OSU.
• Attended Taipei Municipal Nanhu High School in Taipei, Taiwan.
