Cowgirl Golf finishes fall ranked No. 19 by both WGCA and NCAA

STILLWATER – Both the WGCA and the NCAA released their final women's golf rankings of the fall season this week, with Oklahoma State checking in at No. 19 on each.
In the first season of her second stint as the leader of the Cowgirls, head coach Annie Young led the Pokes to a productive fall slate that saw them finish top-5 in three of their four events, highlighted by a win at the Schooner Fall Classic (Sept. 20-21).
The official NCAA Division I rankings, powered by Scoreboard by Clipp'd, use a point system that factors in course difficulty, field depth and several other metrics. In each of the four editions of the rankings released since Oct. 22, the Cowgirls held steady at No. 19.
Oklahoma State accumulated 50.92 points in the fall season, trailing No. 1 Stanford by 62.68. OSU is the third-highest ranked Big 12 team in the NCAA rankings, behind only No. 12 UCF and No. 13 Arizona State.
In the NCAA's individual rankings, Cowgirl golfers claimed three top-100 spots. Ellie Bushnell (Jr.) finished the fall season with a team-best No. 60 ranking, while fellow Pokes Marta Silchenko (Jr.) and Grace Kilcrease (Sr.) weren't far behind, coming in at No. 79 and No. 80, respectively.
The trio of veteran Cowgirls combined for a 71.42 (+0.9) stroke average through 33 fall rounds, firing 11 rounds in the 60s and 16 rounds at par or better.
Coaches polls determine the WGCA's rankings, where Oklahoma State also ended the fall slate at No. 19. With 108 points, the Cowgirls trail No. 1 Stanford by 267. Again, OSU is the third-highest ranked Big 12 team in the rankings, behind No. 11 UCF and No. 12 Arizona State.
This marks the Cowgirls' best fall finish in the WGCA poll since 2022, when they were ranked No. 17.
No. 19 Oklahoma State begins its spring season on Jan. 30, 2026, at the Collegiate Invitational in Guadalajara, Mexico.
