Bio
2022 Fall (Graduate Season)
• Had a solid outing at the Grace Shin Invitational, where she finished tied for 21st and tied her career-low 18-hole score with a 72 in the second round.
• Competed as an individual at the Dale McNamara Invitational.
2021-22 (Graduate Season)
• Played in two events on the season, her first competitive play since the spring of 2020.
• Competed at both the Grace Shin Invitational and the ORU Spring Invite as an individual.
2020-21 (Senior Season)
• Did not participate in any events, but was an invaluable member of the Cowgirl squad during the 2020-21 season.
2019-20 (Junior Season)
• Posted a pair of eagles as a Junior. Only 11 Cowgirls had ever recorded more in a single season.
• Entered her senior season with four career eagles, which was tied for the seventh most in program history.
• Earned her second straight Academic All-Big 12 selection after another standout season in the classroom.
• Lowered her season scoring average to 76.40, which was 1.48 strokes per round lower than her sophomore season. This marked back-to-back seasons with massive improvements.
• Played in five events, including a top-25 finish in the season-opening SMU Trinity Forest Invitational.
• Closed out the UCF Challenge with a final-round 72, which tied her career low round.
2018-19 (Sophomore Season)
• Earned 2019 Academic All-Big 12 First Team honors.
• Started in eight events for the Cowgirls, including the team’s victory in the Anuenue Spring Break Classic in Hawaii.
• Hard work in practice allowed her to drop her season stroke average from 79.42 in 2018 to 77.88 in 2019. Her to-par average also fell from 8.17 to 6.13.
• Won the Kansas Women’s Amateur title and the Prairie Invitational championship at the Indian Hills Country Club in July of 2018.
• Posted a pair of rounds at par in 2019, including a 72-72 to earn her first career top-10 finish at the Anuenue Spring Break Classic.
2017-18 (Freshman Season)
• Saw action in four events for a total of 12 rounds as a freshman.
• Posted a season-best round of 74 as an individual at the PING/ASU Invitational, which helped her finish 61st.
• Earned her best finish of the season at the Dale McNamara Invitational thanks to rounds of 79-76-75 (+20) 230.
• Also notched a 59th-place finish at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational in Hawaii.
• Finished her first collegiate season with a stroke average of 79.42.
Prior to OSU
• Won the Kansas 5A state championship all four years at Kapaun Mount Carmel High School.
• Tied for the individual state championship in 2016, but won it outright as a senior in 2017.
• Left high school as the No. 1 ranked golfer in Kansas according to Golfweek and Junior Golf Scorebard.
• Set multiple course records and won every tournament she competed in as a senior in high school.
• Won the 2016 Kansas Women’s Golf Association Junior State Golf Championship at Derby Golf & Country Club by four strokes.
• Also won the Kansas Sunflower Girls Championship twice (2014 & 2015).
• Participated in over a dozen American Junior Golf Association events (AJGA), including a win in the Hale Irwin Championship qualifier.
• Named the City League Player of the Year four years in a row prior to her time in Stillwater.
Personal
• Is the daughter of Heather and Camden Whitaker.
• Has a sister, Clara, and a brother, Asher.
• Studied business management and business marketing as an undergraduate student at OSU.
• Is now currently working towards her general MBA.
• Was the Big 12 female representative at the NCAA Leadership conference in 2021.
• Recipient of the Female Loyal and True award given at the Cowboy Choice Awards in 2020.
• Awarded the Seniors Directors Chair by OSU Athletics in 2021.
• Served as the social media coordinator for the OSU Student-Athlete Advisory Council.
• Vital member of the planning committee for the first Cowboy Choice Awards in 2019.
