a two-time All-Midwest Region selection (2009 & 2010) ... a two-time All-Big 12 Second Team choice (2008 & 2009) ... also a two-time Academic All-Big 12 honoree (2009 & 2010) ... owns the National Collegiate Athletic Association record for hit by pitches in a career with 69 ... ranks second in school history for runs scored (131) and stolen bases (79) ... ranks third in the record book for on-base percentage (.462) and stolen-base percentage (.919) ... her .348 batting average and 175 hits both rank No. 6 in the Cowgirl record book.

lettered in softball for all four years for coach John Carlson ... was the team captain both her junior and senior seasons ... had 44 hits in 80 at-bats, good for a .550 batting average ... also recorded four doubles, four triples and five home runs her senior year ... finished the season with a .888 slugging percentage ... scored 35 runs and had 30 runs batted in ... was named All-Mesa League all four years, including first team her junior and senior seasons ... Bonita Vista was three-time league champions during her career ... played summer ball with the San Diego County Breakers which finished ninth at the 18-Gold Nationals ... was also a four-year member of the volleyball squad ... was twice named first-team All-Mesa League ... was recruited by San Diego State, New Mexico State, Cal State-Bakersfield, St. John's (N.Y.), Loyola (Ill.) and North Dakota State.

Born April 19, 1989, Mariah is the daughter of Troy Hensley and Dawn Gearhart. She has a younger sister, Heather. Mariah is majoring in sports media at Oklahoma State.
