Has 15 wins over ranked teams in her career, three over top-five teams and a victory over top-ranked Georgia on Feb. 24, 2011 ... entering her senior season, ranks among the top 10 in school history in eight statistical categories: fourth in appearances (116), seventh in saves (six), eighth in victories (57), eighth in starts (79), eighth in complete games (49), eighth in innings pitched (575.1), eighth in strikeouts (442) and 10th in fewest walks per seven innings (1.90) ... ranks 11th in shutouts (16), 13th in most strikeouts per seven innings (5.38), 11th in winning percentage (.663) and 18th in ERA (2.17).
Last Fall
Went 3-1 during the fall, dropping an 8-5 decision to Arkansas ... gave up just 20 hits in 25 innings, although 11 were by the Razorbacks ... excluding the Arkansas contest, allowed just two earned runs in 19 innings, a 0.74 ERA ... struck out 32 batters while walking just four, an 8-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio.

Finished the season with a 15-13 record and a 2.38 ERA ... compiled 143 strikeouts and just 47 walks in 191-1/3 innings ... also recorded three saves and five shutouts ... appeared in 38 games, the 12th most in school history ... her 18 complete games ranks 18th in school history ... named the Big 12 Pitcher of the Week on March 13 ... tossed a no-hitter against North Texas in the season opener ... also threw a no-no against Nebraska in the Mizuno Classic ... had 11 strikeouts against San Jose State, but lost 1-0 in nine innings despite throwing the fourth no-hitter of her career ... picked up a save in OSU's 4-0 win over No. 15 Texas A&M on March 31 ... also picked up a save in OSU's 3-0 victory over No. 5 Texas on April 21 ... threw back-to-back shutout wins against 25th-ranked Baylor (April 28) and No. 24 Texas Tech (May 5).

Personal
Born on Nov. 18, 1990, Kat is the daughter of Armando and Denice Espinosa. She has two brothers, Andrew and Matthew, and a sister, Sara. In her spare time, Kat enjoys the outdoors. She is majoring in Spanish/secondary education at Oklahoma State.
