Ranks among OSU's top-20 pitchers in nine statistical categories: sixth in strikeouts per seven innings (7.61), 10th in starts (63), 11th in appearances (91), 11th in strikeouts (397), 12th in saves (three), 16th in wins (28), 16th in innings pitched (365.1), 17th in complete games (23) and 19th in shutouts (seven).
Last Fall
Went 4-0 in four starts for the Cowgirls...sported a .036 in 25 innings...struck out 44 while only allowing 11 total hits and 1 earned run...pitched 3 complete games...at the plate she hit .462 in 13 at bats...recorded six hits and three RBIs...went 2-for-3 with an RBI against Independence Community College on Sept. 25...Also recorded and RBI against Tulsa on Oct. 11 and another one against Arkansas on Oct. 20.
as a junior in 2013
Went 12-7 on the season in 17 starts and 36 total appearances...sported a 2.54 earned run average in 127 innings pitched...recorded eight complete games...struck out 157 and only walked 39...stuck out a season high 15 batters against Robert Morrison on March 16...Struck out 12 batters against Dayton on Feb. 16 and 10 Texas Tech batters on march 29...picked up seven one-run victories...was named to the Academic All-Big 12 team.
as a sophomore in 2012
Was named an Academic All-Big 12 honorable mention ... finished with a 7-11 record in 27 appearances, including 24 starts ... had nine complete games and two shutouts ... recorded 117 strikeouts in 130-1/3 innings ... recorded a 4-0 win over No. 15 Texas A&M on March 31, scattering three hits over 6-1/3 innings ... also defeated fifth-ranked Texas in Austin 3-0 on April 21, scattering four hits over 5-2/3 innings ... her two shutouts were back-to-back in her first two games of the season against Sam Houston State and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi ... scattered four hits and struck out four while throwing 5-1/3 scoreless innings vs LSU on March 4 ... allowed just one hit while striking out four in four innings against Wichita State on March 13 ... allowed just one hit in three innings at No. 10 Missouri, but OSU lost 1-0.

Finished the season with a 9-8 record and a 2.53 earned run average ... threw six complete games and one shutout ... struck out 123 batters in 108 innings pitched ... allowed just three hits in six innings in a 1-0 loss against No. 14 Arizona State, the defending national champions ... threw a complete game shutout against Tulsa, allowing just four hits while striking out seven ... pitched the final inning against Florida Gulf Coast when she struck out the side ... faced just two batters over the minimum in a win over Texas Tech, striking out a career-high 14 batters while allowing a solo home run and hitting a batter ... picked up the win over No. 25 Texas Tech on April 17.

Named the Junior Female Athlete of the Year by Softball Australia for 2010 ... named the New South Wales Junior Softballer of the Year in 2009 ... lettered four years under coaches Carroll Salem and Grant Pickering ... was co-captain her senior season ... led her team to the state championship team all four years and the national championship in 2007 and 2008 ... also played soccer for three years, ran cross country for three years and competed in the triathlon for a year ... placed third in the state triathlon ... was named School Athletic Champion in 2008 and received a school Athletic Excellence Award in 2009 ... played summer ball for NSW under coaches Alan Moore, Darren Crisp and Kerrie Porter.
Personal
Born on Nov. 21, 1991, Simone is the daughter of Terry and Ross Freeman. She has a sister, Monique. Simone enjoys boxing and cycling in her free time, and loves the beach. She is majoring in health promotion at OSU.
