Cowboy Tennis Continues Homestand Against Memphis

Stillwater, Okla. - Oklahoma State's 26th-ranked men's tennis team will look to bounce back from its first home loss of the season when it hosts No. 22 Memphis on the outdoor courts at the Greenwood Tennis Center on Tuesday at 5 p.m.

OSU's first home loss came at the hands of No. 6 Texas, a 4-1 setback on Friday and dropped the Cowboys to 4-3 on the year and 4-1 in Stillwater. Matej Vocel provided the Cowboys' point against the Longhorns, defeating Elliot Spizzirri. With the win, Vocel improved to 5-1 in singles action at home.

Memphis most recently took the courts at Tulsa, where the Tigers ultimately fell, 4-3, to the Golden Hurricane on Sunday. Memphis comes to town looking to snap a three-match losing streak and is 5-3 overall on the year.

The most recent meeting between the Tigers and the Cowboys came in 2020, where the Pokes swept the match, 4-0. OSU holds the advantage between the teams in the overall series, 10-2.
