Stillwater, Okla. - Oklahoma State's 23rd-ranked men's tennis team got back on the winning track Tuesday, sweeping the Omaha Mavericks at the Greenwood Tennis Center, 7-0, to improve to 4-2 on the year.

The Cowboys struck early in doubles. Maxim Tybar and Mathieu Scaglia quickly took the victory over Omaha's Julian Kenzlers and Phillip Olson, 6-3, to get OSU on the board. Following in their footsteps, Matej Vocel and Matisse Bobichon closed out doubles against Hugo Piles Ballester and Davis Lawley, notching a 7-5 victory. Court one went unfinished with Henrik Korsgaard and Etienne Donnet against Matt Hulme and Abdoul Ouattara, 5-5.

OSU continued its momentum in singles action. On court one, Matej Vocel put in the work to finish first against Abdoul Outtara, 6-2, 6-2. Matisse Bobichon added another point shortly afterward, taking court six in straight sets against Alvara Quintana, 6-2, 6-2. To secure the win for the Pokes, Etienne Donnet won on court four against Hugo Piles Ballester, 6-1, 6-2.

Although the match was decided, both teams played out on the remaining courts. Henrik Korsgaard was the next to finish on court two against Matt Hulme, posting a 6-3, 7-5 triumph. Mathieu Scaglia and Maxim Tybar both saw their matches go to tiebreakers. After losing his second set, Mathieu Scaglia came back on court three to defeat Davis Lawley, 6-3, 5-7, 1-0(4). To finish out the sweep, Maxim Tybar prevailed in three over Philip Olsson, 6-1, 5-7, 1-0(5).

Today's win today marks the fourth consecutive victory for OSU at home. The team will continue its homestand this Friday when the Cowboys host Texas at 3:30 p.m.
