Cowgirl Golf Wrapping Up Fall Season At Kissing Tree Invitational

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State Women's Golf Team will travel to the Kissing Tree Invitational in San Marcos, Texas this weekend, to wrap up their fall season.
The Kissing Tree Invitational is an individual event and will not include a team title. The Invitational will include golfers from Big 12 rivals Baylor, Texas Tech and TCU, as well as Houston, Incarnate Word, Nebraska, SMU, Texas A&M, Texas State, Tulane and UTSA.
All-American Isabella Fierro, Maja Stark, Lianna Bailey, Rina Tatematsu, Hailey Jones and Angelica Pfefferkorn will compete for the Cowgirls.
Fierro has finished in the top-10 at every tournament this fall season and finished at a tie for third place at the Cowgirl Classic. After finishing in third place as a team at the Cowgirl Classic, OSU hopes to continue the momentum moving forward into this weekend's tournament.
The event begins on Sunday morning at the Kissing Tree Golf Club in San Marcos, which is the home of Texas State. Former Cowboy golf All-American and former Cowgirl assistant coach Par Nilsson is now the head coach at Texas State.
