Cowgirls Move Into 15th At Northrop Grumman

PALOS VERDES, Calif. - Oklahoma State's women's golf team moved up one spot at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge after posting a 299 during its second round on Monday at Palos Verdes Golf Club.
The Cowgirls finished the day three shots behind Pepperdine and North Carolina with a 39-over total of 607. Southern California posted a 279 during its second round at the par-71, 6,017-yard layout to cruise to a 14-shot lead with its 1-under 567 score.
USC's Annie Park posted her second consecutive 67 to lead the individual race with a 134 score.
OSU sophomore Julie Yang carded a 73 to finish the day with a 150 total and tied for 41st place.
Freshman Isabella Deilert's second-straight 76 gave her a 152 total and tied her for 49th place.
Senior Amy Ruengmateekhun's 74 moved her into a tie for 56th place at 153. She was joined by classmate Jayde Panos, who followed an opening 77 with a 76.
Senior Lauren Falley came in tied for 63rd place at 155 after posting a 77 during her second round.
The Cowgirls will begin their final round tomorrow at 8 a.m. (PST) and will be grouped with Pepperdine, North Carolina and Ohio State.
