STILLWATER – Standout transfer Louise Depadt has signed with the Oklahoma State women's golf team, head coach Annie Young announced Friday.
Depadt, a rising senior from Lusanger, France, spent her first two collegiate seasons at Tarleton State University. Depadt dominated the Western Athletic Conference during her time in Stephenville, earning back-to-back WAC Golfer of the Year awards and WAC individual conference championships in 2025 and 2026.
"Louise is a great addition to the program," Young said. "She loves to compete and is a proven winner. We are excited for her to join our team."
A two-time First Team All-WAC selection, Depadt recorded five wins, seven top-3 finishes and 13 top-10 placements in 19 events with Tarleton State. Depadt posted an impressive 995-149-24 (.862) head-to-head record with the Texans and played at par-or-better 26 times across 53 total rounds with the team.
Depadt led the Tarleton State women's golf team to two of the most successful seasons in program history, guiding the Texans to back-to-back WAC team titles in 2025 and 2026 and the first NCAA Championship berth in team history last year.
The rising senior boasts an outstanding resume in the classroom as well, earning a WGCA All-American Scholar selection, Academic All-WAC honors, and CSC Academic All-District recognition after the 2024-25 season.
Depadt was a highly regarded prospect before arriving at Tarleton State, peaking at No. 40 in the French amateur rankings and No. 218 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. This year, Depadt reached as high as No. 186 in the Scoreboard by Clipp'd official NCAA individual rankings before finishing her junior season at No. 207.
Depadt is the first transfer portal addition to head coach Annie Young's No. 13-ranked squad. Depadt joins a veteran-led Oklahoma State lineup fresh off a sixth-place finish at the NCAA Championship and is the Cowgirls' fourth-highest-ranked golfer, joining Marta Silchenko (16), Ellie Bushnell (64), Yu-Chu Chen (121), Summer Lee (265), Tarapath Panya (310) and Lucy Darr (315) in Stillwater.
25 conference titles. 32 NCAA Championship appearances. 49 All-Americans. For the latest news and updates on Oklahoma State Women's Golf, visit okstate.com or follow @CowgirlGolf on Instagram/Facebook and @OSUCowgirlGolf on X.
