2025-26 (Freshman):

One of two Cowgirl freshmen.
No. 190 in the Scoreboard by Clipp'd individual rankings as of May 5, a 195-spot jump from her start-of-season placement.
A 6-under 66 in the second round of the Huntington Bank Collegiate helped secure her first collegiate top-5 finish and led the Cowgirls to their third win of the season.
Placed top-30 in five of her eight events.
73.71 (+2.2) stroke average is third-lowest on the team.
Selected to the Taiwan Women’s National Team for the World Amateur Team Championships, becoming the 15th Cowgirl since 2000 to play in the event and the first since Maddison Hinson-Tolchard represented Austrailia in 2023. Chen’s week at the tournament was highlighted by 2-over 74 in the third round.

Before College:

Won three different AJGA events in 2024: the National Winter Tournament, the C.T. Pan Foundation Junior Championship and the 31st Taiwan Amateur Golf Championship.

Personal:

Has significant experience playing both stateside and abroad, notching tournament wins in both the US and Taiwan.
Described by head coach Annie Young as “a very, very good golfer,” and “a big part of what we’re doing moving forward.”
Has not yet declared a major.
