2025-26 (Freshman):
- One of two Cowgirl freshmen.
- Made her collegiate debut in OSU’s season opener at Pebble Beach.
- Shot a season-best even-par 70 in the second round of the Schooner Fall Classic, helping OSU to victory.
- Selected to the Taiwan Women’s National Team for the World Amateur Team Championships, becoming the 15th Cowgirl since 2000 to play in the event and the first since Maddison Hinson-Tolchard represented Austrailia in 2023. Chen’s week at the tournament was highlighted by 2-over 74 in the third round.
- No. 273 in the Scoreboard by Clipp'd individual rankings as of March 2026, a 112-spot jump from her start-of-season placement.
Before College:
- Two-time Rolex Junior All-American (2023, 2024).
- Climbed as high as No. 26 in the Rolex AJGA rankings.
- Reached No. 164 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking in December, 2024.
- Won three different AJGA events in 2024: the National Winter Tournament, the C.T. Pan Foundation Junior Championship and the 31st Taiwan Amateur Golf Championship.
Personal:
- Originally from Kaohsiung, Taiwan
- Has significant experience playing both stateside and abroad, notching tournament wins in both the US and Taiwan.
- Described by head coach Annie Young as “a very, very good golfer,” and “a big part of what we’re doing moving forward.”
- Has not yet declared a major.
