Cowgirls in 18th at Central Regional

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Oklahoma State's women's golf team posted its second consecutive 312 score at the NCAA Central Regional on Friday to dip into 18th place at Warren Golf Course.
Through 36 holes at the par-72, 6,208-yard layout, the Cowgirls stand at 48-over 624 and a shot behind Michigan. OSU will begin tomorrow's final round 14 shots out of the eighth and final qualifying spot for the NCAA Championship. UCLA will take a six-shot lead into its final round, posting a 301 to come in with a 592 total and six strokes ahead of Minnesota and LSU.
Arkansas' Emily Tubert fired a 69 during her second round to move from a tie for 26th into sole possession of first place at even-par 144.
OSU's Jayde Panos posted a 76 to maintain her position. The freshman remained tied for 11th at 149 following Friday's action.
Freshman Jade Staggs posted a 74 to move up 22 spots into a tie for 29th at 152.
Junior Jocelyn Alford's 82 tied her for 96th place at 161, while Hillary Wood posted an 87 to stand at 169 and tied for 121st.
Freshman Josephine Janson finished the day tied for 124th at 170 after signing for an 80 during her second round.
The Cowgirls will begin their final round tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. (EST) and will be grouped with Illinois and Michigan.
