Cowgirl Golf Moves Into Third Place In Puerto Rico

RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico - Oklahoma State's women's golf team turned in a 288 total on Monday during its second round at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic to move into third place at Trump International Golf Club.
The Cowgirls' even-par score was one shot off the low round of the day fired by Alabama, which used its 287 to move into first place. The Cowgirls will enter tomorrow's final round with a 588 total. Georgia is currently in second place at 587, while the Crimson Tide stand at 582.
Sophomore Caroline Hedwall led the charge for OSU, tying her career-low round with a 65. Hedwall's score moved her from a tie for 17th into a three-way tie for second place at 5-under 139. She will begin her final round one shot behind individual leader Hannah Burke of Baylor. Burke carded consecutive 69s to move to the top of the leaderboard.
Freshman Victoria Park also moved into the top 10 with a 2-under 70. She will begin her final round tied for ninth place at 144.
Freshman Courtney McKim shaved five shots off her opening round, posting a 75 on Monday to move into a tie for 42nd place at 155.
Freshman Eyglo Oskarsdottir followed her opening 79 with a 78 and is tied for 53rd place at 157, while freshman Hillary Wood's 85 tied her for 57th at 158.
OSU will be grouped with Alabama, Georgia and Purdue for tomorrow's final round at the par 72, 6,193-yard layout. Play will begin at 7:45 a.m. (EST).
