Cowgirls In Ninth

Oklahoma State's women's golf team carded a 298 during its second round at the Stanford Intercollegiate on Saturday to dip into ninth place at Stanford Golf Course.
The Cowgirls opened the day in seventh place before posting their 14-over score during Round Two. OSU stands at 586, 18-over, and one shot behind San Jose State and Arizona. Arizona State maintained its lead the team race. ASU finished the day with a 282 score for a 13-under 555 total through 36 holes.
Individually, Sun Devil Carlota Ciganda is tied for first in the individual race with Vanderbilt's Marina Alex at 5-under 137.
Sophomore Caroline Hedwall fell from a tie for second into a tie for 10th place at 1-under 141 after posting a 75. Hedwall opened play with a 66 at the par-71, 6,156-yard layout.
Freshman Jane Rah posted her second consecutive 73 and is tied for 29th place at 4-over 146.
Freshman Victoria Park followed her opening 71 with a 76 to finish tied for 33rd at 147, while fellow freshman Courtney McKim posted a 74 and is tied for 56th place at 152.
Freshman Hillary Wood will enter tomorrow's final round tied for 72nd place at 157 after carding a 78 during her second round.
The Cowgirls will wrap up play tomorrow when they begin their third round at 7:30 a.m. (PST). OSU will be grouped with Arizona and San Jose State.
