Cowboys Run Past North Texas, 100-88

Freshman Keiton Page added 20 for the Cowboys (2-0), who staved off a rally by North Texas late in the first half.
North Texas (1-1) trailed by as much as 15 points but went on a 13-5 run over the final two minutes and were down 51-44 at intermission.
Early in the second half, Harris hit back-to-back 3-pointers to push the lead to 61-45, but North Texas closed the gap to nine at the 13:00 mark.
Anderson hit consecutive treys again and his dunk one possession later made it 75-58.
What started out with both teams running up and down the court finished as a free-throw shooting contest as the teams were whistled for a combined 58 fouls. North Texas went to the charity stripe 50 times, a record for free-throws attempted by an opponent in GIA. Three Cowboys fouled out of the game.
Oklahoma State shot 43.5 percent from the floor, including 13-of-30 from beyond the three-point arc. The Pokes also made 27-of-33 free throws, good for nearly 82 percent. OSU also committed just 10 turnovers.
Josh White led the Mean Green with 23 points on 6-of-20 shooting.
