Big 12 announces 2027 men’s basketball schedule pairings

The Big 12 Conference released its 2026-27 men's basketball pairings on Thursday afternoon.
Oklahoma State will face each of the league's other 15 schools at least once during the regular season, with home-and-home matchups against Iowa State, TCU and Utah.
In addition to those three opponents, the Cowboys will host Arizona, Arizona State, Cincinnati, Colorado, Texas Tech and UCF inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
OSU's road-only opponents include Baylor, BYU, Houston, Kansas, Kansas State and West Virginia.
Dates, times and television information will be announced later this summer.
This marks the Big 12's third season as a 16-team conference and its second since returning to an 18-game league schedule. The Cowboys will play 10 games against 2026 NCAA Tournament teams, highlighted by a visit from Final Four qualifier Arizona, and seven games against teams that finished among the top 25 in last year's NCAA NET rankings.
Home-and-home opponents are determined by a combination of geography and competitive balance.
This is the second consecutive year that Oklahoma State has been paired with both TCU and Iowa State for two-plays. The Cowboys have won two of their first three Big 12-era meetings with Utah, including last February's 81-69 victory in Salt Lake City.
After winning 20 games and reaching the second round of the NIT last season, Oklahoma State is positioned for another step forward in its third season under head coach Steve Lutz. The Cowboys added the Big 12's top transfer class, according to On3, along with a consensus top-10 high school signing class, to a talented group of holdovers that includes returning starters Kanye Clary and Benjamin Ahmed.
