2024-25: Won the heavyweight national championship after knocking off Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson in the final … Became the third wrestler in OSU history to win the Dan Hodge Trophy and just the eighth heavyweight to garner the award … Completed a flawless 27-0 season with wins over nine All-Americans … Scored bonus points 22 times despite facing a 2025 national qualifier in 17 of his 27 bouts, tallying right technical falls, one default and 13 pins, which was tied for fourth-most in the country … Only decisions came against top-six finishers and only four of his matches made it to the third period … Produced a takedown ratio of 60:3, scored near fall points 23 times and went 13-0 throughout the dual schedule to complete his career on a 48-match win streak … Won the Big 12 tournament to collect his third conference championship … Earned Outstanding Wrestler honors at the Cliff Keen Las Vegan Invitational, was the Big 12 Wrestler of the Year and the NCAA Most Dominant Wrestler for the third time in his career … Concluded his career with a 127-11 record and three All-American honors.
