2024-25: Finished 21-12 in his final season with the Cowboys and collected All-America status for the first time in his career … Reached the NCAA quarterfinals with a dramatic 10-7 upset win over Ohio State’s No. 5 Brandon Cannon in sudden victory … Picked up his first pin of the season at the Big 12 Championships where he finished fourth … Was a key part of OSU’s comeback victory against Northern Iowa, beating No. 4 Ryder Downey … Reached his 100th career win against Missouri’s James Conway … Finished third at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational.
2023-24 (Michigan State): Spent most of the season ranked in the top-10 at 165 pounds with a 27-11 record … Made his third consecutive appearance at the NCAA Championships as the No. 21 seed and went 2-2 … Had a solid 8-8 mark against ranked opponents and won 14 of his 16 dual matches … Led the team with seven major decisions as part of his career-best 14 wins with bonus points … Best stretch of the season came in early January when he beat Ohio’s No. 10 Garrett Thompson and No. 5 Cameron Amine of Michigan in back-to-back matches … Pinned 12th-ranked Bryce Hepner of Ohio State in his final match at the Big Ten Championships … Member of both the NWCA Scholar All-American and Academic All-Big Ten teams for the third straight season.
2022-23 (Michigan State): Returned to the NCAA Championships as the No. 29 seed at 165 pounds after a 28-11 season … Made his deepest run at nationals, reaching the quarterfinals but ultimately coming up a win short of All-America honors … Upset fourth-seeded Julian Ramirez of Cornell in the first round for the highest-ranked win of his career … Recorded eight pins as part of his 11 bonus-point victories throughout the season … Began the year with wins in nine of his first 10 matches … Went 6-10 against ranked opponents … Had a pair of falls and five wins to capture the title at the Reno Tournament of Champions … Received selection to the NWCA Scholar All-American and Academic All-Big Ten teams once again.
2021-22 (Michigan State): Went 22-14 in his first season starting at 165 pounds … Earned his first dual match and ranked win against No. 10 Zach Hartman of Bucknell … Picked up wins in eight duals and added bonus points seven times throughout the year … Found the podium at the Big Ten Championships with a 2-3 outing … Made his first appearance at the NCAA Championships as the No. 21 seed … Was the 165-pound champion of the freshman/sophomore division at the Michigan State Open … Selected to the NWCA Scholar All-American and Academic All-Big Ten teams.
