2018-19: Garnered a 10-5 record in his junior campaign wrestling at 197 pounds… Earned a second-place finish at the OCU Open, falling in the finals match to teammate Preston Weigel… Went 2-1 in his three dual starts for the Cowboys at 197 pounds… Half his wins came via fall, with the fastest coming in 28 seconds at the Bob Smith Open where he finished third… Opened the dual season at South Dakota State with a pin against Samuel Grove before picking up a win against Minnesota’s Brandon Krone… Earned second-team All-Big 12 academic honors, marking back-to-back seasons in which the Cowboy earned academic conference honors.
