At the Oregon Team Invitational, Wilmes clocked a big PR of 2:02.82 in the 800 Meters as she won the meet by almost three seconds… Was a member of the Cowgirl 4x800 Meter Relay that nearly broke the collegiate record as they won the Drake Relays by over ten seconds with their time of 8:16.65… Competed at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships and NCAA West First Round in the 800 Meters.
2026 Indoors
Opened her Cowgirl career in impressive fashion, picking up a pair of meet victories in the 1,000 Meters and 4x400 Meter Relay at the Washburn Alumni Invite in December… Set a new personal best in the 1,000 Meters with her time of 2:45.01 at the Thane Baker Invitational, moving her up to No. 7 on the program’s all-time list… At the prestigious Razorback Invitational, Wilmes clocked a personal best of 2:03.09 in the 800 Meters and helped the Cowgirl DMR to a meet victory with their time of 10:47.84… Was also a member of the Cowgirl DMR that ran the second-fastest time in NCAA history at the Arkansas Qualifier just under a month later with a school-record time of 10:43.10… Earned a pair of All-Big 12 honors with a second-place finish in the DMR and a third-place finish in the 1,000 Meters… Earned first team All-America honors as a member of the Cowgirl DMR that placed eighth at the NCAA Championships.
High School
Attended Father Tolton Catholic High School in Columbia, Missouri… Was the 2024 New Balance Outdoor National Champion in the 800 Meters… A three-time state champion in the 800 Meters, two-time state champion in the 1,600 Meters and three-time 4x800 Meter Relay state champion… Was an individual state champion in cross country and a three-time team state champion on the grass.
