• Ranked 13th in the Big 12 Conference with his 5.7 boards per contest, the highest average by a league freshman.
• That average improved to 7.2 rebounds per game in conference-games only, the fifth-highest average of any player in the league.
• Had 15 multiple-block games, including five contests with four or more blocked shots; blocked a career-high five shots at Texas.

• Was named to the Class 4A All-State team and All-Region I by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches.

• As a junior, he averaged 18.3 points and 10.5 rebounds per game, leading the Dons to the Region I-4A finals.

• A consensus four-star recruit, was ranked as the 12th-best power forward by Scout.com and the ninth-best power forward by Rivals.com.
• Rivals.com also ranked him as the No. 38 player overall nationally.
• Chose Oklahoma State over offers from Memphis, Oklahoma, Missouri and Georgia Tech.
Personal
Born August 9, 1992, Michael is the son of Dennis and Joy Cobbins. He has two sisters, Kim and Jade. Michael graduated from Oklahoma State with a degree in university studies with an emphasis in entrepreneurship in May of 2014.
