2013-14 (Junior season)
• Named first-team Academic All-District by CoSIDA.
• Named first-team Academic All-Big 12 by the Conference for the second-straight season.
• Matched his career high with seven points in a career-best 23 minutes at Texas.
• Averaged 14.7 minutes over a six-game span in early February.
• Grabbed a season-high four rebounds on three occasions, including the game at Texas and at Oklahoma.
• Played six minutes in the win over No. 5 Kansas and five minutes in the victory over Kansas State to end the regular season.
• Scored four points against Texas Tech in the first round of the Big 12 Championship.
2012-13 (Sophomore season)
• Was named first-team Academic All-Big 12 by the league office.
• Played six minutes against Kansas State in the Big 12 Championship.
• Had four points, two rebounds, an assist and a steal at Texas Tech.
• Played three minutes in OSU's 85-80 victory at No. 2 Kansas.
• Recorded his first-career block against 7-1 Isaiah Austin of Baylor.

2011-12 (Freshman season)
• Walked on as a freshman and was awarded a scholarship.

• Played 32 minutes in two games during the Big 12 Championship, scoring five points against Texas Tech in the first round.
• Grabbed two rebounds at Kansas State.
• Recorded his first statistics with an assist and a steal at Texas A&M.
HighSchool
• Lettered three years for coach Rob McIlhaney.
• averaged 19 points, seven rebounds and four assists as a senior.
• Scored a career-high 30 points against The Colony, connecting on 10-of-17 field goals, including 5-of-7 from three-point range, and 5-of-6 free throws.
• Was the team's Offensive Player of the Year and was first-team all-district as a senior.
• Garnered second-team all-district status as a sophomore.
• Was a two-sport letterman, playing baseball for three seasons, although he sat out his junior year to focus on basketball.

Personal
Born Sept. 13, 1992, Christien is the son of Charlie and Tacy Sager. He has a younger sister, Kelsie, and a younger brother, Carson. His father played basketball at Utah State and Midwestern State. Christien is majoring in electrical engineering at Oklahoma State. He was the salutatorian of his class at Rider High and scored a 33 on his ACT.
