2013-14 (Junior season)
• Played in seven games as a junior: vs Mississippi Valley State, Utah State, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, TCU, Texas Tech, at TCU and Kansas State.
• Scored his first points against a Big 12 Conference opponent by connecting on a three pointer vs TCU in Stillwater.
• Dished out his first Division I assist and recorded his first Division I steal in the season opener against Mississippi Valley State.
2012-13 (Sophomore season)
• Scored his first Division I points on a three-point basket against Central Arkansas.
• Played in nine games: Tennessee, N.C. State, Portland State, Central Arkansas, UT Arlington, Tennessee Tech, Texas Tech (twice) and West Virginia.
2011-12 (Freshman season)
• Saw action in 12 games as a freshman during the 2011-12 season for St. Gregory's, an NAIA school in Shawnee, Okla.
• Scored two points against Southwestern Christian and Wayland Baptist.
• Grabbed two rebounds on three occasions: vs LSU-Shreveport, against Oklahoma Christian and vs Lubbock Christian.
High School
• Named first-team All-Centennial Conference as a senior in 2011.
• Was also an honorable mention all-area selection as a senior.
• Was considered an alternate to the All-State squad.
Personal
Born June 1, 1992, Alex is the son of Shelley and the late Kurt Budke, former head coach of the Cowgirl Basketball program. He has an older sister, Sara, and a younger brother, Brett, who is a manager for the Cowboys this season. Alex is majoring in secondary education/social studies at Oklahoma State.
