2016-17: Bumped up to heavyweight for his senior season and turned in an impressive campaign, going 22-3 overall with an unblemished 10-0 dual mark … Recorded his first career Big 12 Championship, defeating Utah Valley’s Dustin Dennison by way of 9-0 technical fall in the finals … Finished third at the Southern Scuffle, recording ranked wins over No. 11 Jared Johnson and No. 10 Nathan Butler … Earned 15 bonus point wins with four falls, five tech falls and six major decisions … Went 5-1 against ranked foes, with the first ranked win of his career coming in a 3-2 victory over No. 5 Michael Kroells of Minnesota … Defeated No. 6 Sam Stoll of Iowa, 5-4, to help the Pokes to a victory over the Hawkeyes … Tallied 41 dual points for the Pokes … Finished first at the Outlaw Open … First-time NCAA qualifier.

2014-15: Put together a 10-8 record with a 3-3 mark in dual competition … Earned the team 11 dual points … Opened the season with a 15-0 technical fall over Josh Latham of Northeastern Oklahoma … Faced No. 1 Scott Schiller in the dual versus Minnesota … Won the Joe Parisi Open … Also competed in the Reno Tournament of Champions and Southern Scuffle … Finished third at the Big 12 Championship at 197 pounds.
2013-14 (Redshirt Year): Took a redshirt at 197 pounds ... Finished with a 19-1 record competing only in open events ... Won his bracket at the UCM, Oklahoma, Bob Smith and Bixby opens ... Was runner-up at the Reno Tournament of Champions ... Of his 19 wins, 13 were earned with bonus points ... Tallied six major decisions, five falls and two technical falls.
2012-13: Originally slated to take a redshirt year, he was pulled from it when Blake Rosholt suffered a temporary injury … Compiled a 16-8 overall record and made two varsity appearances for the Pokes in December against Wyoming and Tennessee-Chattanooga … Recorded nine bonus-point wins in the form of five falls and four major decisions … All of his falls were in the first period … Notched a 7-5 sudden victory win over Bryce Barnes at the Southern Scuffle.
