Cowboy Tennis falls short against No. 4 TCU

STILLWATER - The Oklahoma State men's tennis team fell to fourth-ranked Texas Christian University, 4-0, on Thursday evening at the Greenwood Tennis Center.
The Cowboys move to 14-10 on the season and 1-6 in Big 12 play. TCU improves to 18-5 (6-1) on the 2025-26 campaign.
Starting with doubles, court one saw TCU's Duncan Chan and Oliver Bonding defeat OSU's Nicolas Kobelt and Aaron Williams, 6-2. TCU's Cosme Rolland De Ravel and Maximus Dussault followed with another victory, this time on court three against OSU's pairing Charlie Valentine and Ian Bracks to give the Horned Frogs the doubles point. Court two went unfinished.
Heading into singles, the Cowboys put up a fight against the Horned Frogs despite the final score.
OSU's Derek Pham fell to Albert Pedrico, 6-1, 6-1, on court four. Shortly after, TCU's Cooper Woestendick defeated Kobelt, 6-1, 6-4, on court two. Williams put up a fight against Roger Pascual but fell short, 6-3, 6-4, to clinch the match for the Horned Frogs.
Ian Bracks won his first set against TCU's Oliver Bonding, 6-2, with his match going unfinished on court three. OSU's Alessio Basile followed with a first set win over TCU's sixth-ranked singles player, Chan, 7-6(5), the match went unfinished. Over on court six, Haydar Gokpinar went unfinished with a lead in the second set following a close first set.
The Cowboys return to action Sunday to close out the regular season at 11 a.m. against No. 10 Arizona, for Senior Day at the Greenwood Tennis Center where Williams and Basile will be honored.
