Cowboy Tennis Swept at No. 2 TCU

FORT WORTH, Texas – Oklahoma State's men's tennis team dropped the third match of its five-match road trip to No. 2 TCU, 4-0, on Thursday night at the Friedman Tennis Center.
With the win, the Horned Frogs improved to 18-2 overall and 6-0 in the Big 12, while the loss drops the Cowboys to 7-12 overall and 1-4 in league play.
To open the match, the Cowboys dropped the doubles point after TCU's Filip Apltauer and Lui Maxted defeated Matei Onofrei and Finn Hopfe, 6-1. Albert Pedrico and Duncan Chan took down Ian Bracks and Thomas Gadecki, 6-4, and No. 64 Jack Pennington and Cooper Woestendick bested Alessio Basile and Isaac Becroft, 6-4.
Basile was the lone Cowboy to win a set on the night, as his match was left unfinished against No. 78 Woestendick, 6-4, 2-3.
TCU's Chan took down Gadecki, 6-0, 6-4, to double the lead.
In the night's lone ranked matchup, TCU's No. 12 Pinnington defeated No. 107 Becroft, 6-2, 6-2.
The Horned Frogs clinched the match on court four, where Pedrico defeated Bracks, 6-3, 6-2.
Derek Pham and Ben Stecker left their matches unfinished in the loss.
OSU concludes its five-match road trip as it heads to Waco, Texas, to take on Abilene Christian on April 5 at 3 p.m. and No. 16 Baylor on April 6 at 1 p.m. at the Hurd Tennis Center.
