Spartan Sun Coast Invitational Final Results

Sarasota, Fla. - The Oklahoma State women's golf team placed two individuals in the top 20 at the Spartan Sun Coast Invitational at Palm Aire Country Club.

The Cowgirls bounced back from a tough first day with a 1-over, 289 in Tuesday's final round. They were 16-over (880) for the week and finished 20 shots behind the co-leaders. Host Michigan State defeated Ohio State on a tiebreaker.

Ellie Bushnell was OSU's highest individual finisher, firing a closing round 2-under, 70. She shot par-or-better in all three rounds to earn a tie for 13^th place. It was the sophomore's fifth top-20 finish in seven tournaments this season.

Grace Kilcrease carded a 1-under, 71 in her final round. She's shot par-or-better in 11 of her 20 rounds this season. The Tulsa transfer's run of top 10 finishes ended at six -- tied for the fifth-longest such streak in program history. It was the best start ever to a Cowgirl career.

Marta Silchenko made her season debut in the OSU lineup and earned a top 30 finish at 5-over-par.

Sammie Miller celebrated her birthday with a final-round 73 to place 60^th, while Thitaporn Saithip ended in 76^th.

Summer Lee, the Texas State Invitational Champion, competed individually and posted steady numbers (74-73-73) on her way to 30^th place.

The Cowgirls will head to the West Coast for the Yale Invitational, March 10-11 in La Quinta, Calif.
