Cowboy Indoor Track & Field ranked No. 25 in latest USTFCCCA National Rating Index

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State Indoor Track & Field dropped three spots to No. 25 in this week's U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) National Rating Index, the organization announced Tuesday.
The Cowboys remain led by NCAA champions Fouad Messaoudi and Brian Musau, who are each ranked in the top-6 in the Mile and 5,000 Meters, respectively, totaling 26.58 ranking points between them. Both marks by Messaoudi and Musau are program records and were top-10 marks in NCAA history at the time of completion.
Sophomore Denis Kipngetich also sits ninth in the 5,000 Meters, garnering another 7.80 ranking points, with Mehdi Yanouri (No. 16, 800 Meters), Laban Kipkemboi (No. 24, Mile), Musau (No. 25, Mile), Hafez Mahadi (No. 29, 800 Meters), Alex Stitt (No. 33, Mile) and Ryan Schoppe (No. 34, Mile) making up the rest of OSU's 37.63 points overall this week.
Both the Cowboys and Cowgirls return to action this week for the historic Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., from Feb. 14-15.
