October 16, 2025 | Cowgirl Golf
PALO ALTO, Calif. – Oklahoma State women's golf tees off at the Stanford Intercollegiate on Friday for its final tournament of the 2025 fall season.
The Stanford Golf Course hosts the tournament. Ranked by Golf Digest as the No. 7 college course in the country, the par-71, 6,278-yard course pairs a sprawling layout with oak tree-lined fairways and mountain views atop the Stanford University campus.
The Cowgirls placed in the top five in each of their first three tournaments, highlighted by an 8-stroke victory at the Schooner Fall Classic (Sept. 20-21). The team's strong start led them to the No. 12 spot in the first official NCAA rankings, released yesterday.
Format:
The Stanford Intercollegiate is a 54-hole stroke-play tournament composed of three 18-hole rounds, with one round played daily, Friday through Sunday. Each of the 14 teams will bring five golfers, with the top four scores counting towards daily totals.

Going Back to Cali:
Four of the five golfers in this weekend's lineup also played at Pebble Beach in August, where the Pokes kicked off their season with a third-place finish in the Carmel Cup.
Marta Silchenko fills OSU's No. 1 spot for the first time this year after a fourth-place finish at the Prairie Dunes Invitational (Sept. 20-21). The junior led the team with a 72-72—144 (+4) scorecard.
Ellie Bushnell returns after a top 20 effort at Prairie Dunes, pairing a first-round 71 (+1) with a second-round 75 (+5) to finish tied for 19th place.
Preseason All-American Grace Kilcrease is tabbed No. 34 in the new NCAA individual rankings, highest on the team. The senior has shot par-or-better in four of eight rounds this year.
Summer Lee will look to build on her season-best T-12 performance two weeks ago in Kansas, shooting a team-best 1-over 71 in the second round.
Sophomore Tarapath Panya is the only Cowgirl in the Stanford lineup who did not play at Pebble Beach. However, the underclassman has appeared in each of the team's tournaments since, posting a 72.80 stroke average and two rounds under par.
Elite Competition:
The Stanford Intercollegiate hosts the most competitive field that the Cowgirls have seen so far this year, with 10 top-25 teams set to compete. The No. 12 Cowgirls will be the seventh-highest-ranked team in the event.
Five of the country's top 10 teams will tee off in Palo Alto, with No. 2 USC, No. 4 Oregon, No. 6 Texas and No. 8 Pepperdine making the trip out west and No. 3 Stanford hosting.
No. 11 Northwestern, No. 12 Oklahoma State, No. 23 Tennessee, No. 24 Arizona State and No. 25 UCLA round out the event's talented field.
The Cowgirls are 5-3-0 on the season against top 25 teams, with wins against No. 10 Arkansas, No. 13 Mississippi State, No. 19 Oklahoma (twice), and No. 22 UCF.
