Cowgirl Golf Reveals 2024-25 Schedule
August 12, 2024 | Cowgirl Golf
The full season schedule, released today, begins with a visit to world-famous Pebble Beach and also includes an October showcase on the Golf Channel during the Jackson T. Stephens Cup. OSU golfers will spend the spring crisscrossing the country, with two trips to Florida and stops at PGA Tour mainstays in Texas and California.
"Our goal each year is to build a schedule that will have the team prepared for the end of the year when the postseason rolls around," Robertson said. "This coming year, we will play from coast to coast against the best teams in the country, and we are excited to compete on courses like Pebble Beach and Colonial.
"We also have three tournaments in Oklahoma, so this gives our fans a chance to watch us play a little more than they have in the past."
Greg Robertson has led the Cowgirls to four consecutive NCAA Championship appearances. His 2024-25 roster includes three returning starters – Ellie Bushnell, Thitaporn Saithip and Marta Silchenko.
OSU will open for a third straight year at the Carmel Cup (Aug. 30-Sep. 1). One of the PGA Tour's most iconic courses, Pebble Beach is renowned for its breathtaking coastal views.
The Cowgirls play the first of three straight in-state events at the Schooner Fall Classic, Sep. 21-23 in Norman. It's their fifth straight appearance at the Belmar Golf Club, which features a par-70 layout.
The Cowgirls set their boots in the 918 at the Dale McNamara Invitational, Oct. 14-15 in Broken Arrow, Okla. Although they've routinely sent individuals to the tournament, this will be their first team appearance since winning the 2018 title.
As previously announced, OSU will make its first appearance at the prestigious Jackson T. Stephens Cup, Oct. 21-23 at the Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club. The three-day event – named in honor of the former Augusta National Golf Club chairman – will air nationally on the Golf Channel.
The Cowgirls round out their fall schedule in Fort Worth, Texas, at the Charles Schwab Women's Collegiate Challenge, Oct. 27-28 at Ridglea Country Club.
The spring season begins with back-to-back tournaments in the Sunshine State – the Cowgirls' first Florida tournaments since 2022.
OSU will be part of the field at the FAU Paradise Invitational (Feb. 3-4 in Boca Raton, Fla.) and returns two weeks later to the opposite coastline for the Spartan Sun Coast Invitational (Feb. 16-17 at Sarasota's Palm Aire Country Club). Palm Aire has hosted a number of professional and amateur events over the years, including the 2015 Honda Cup.
OSU moves to the Pacific coast Mar. 10-11 to tackle the Yale Invitational in La Quinta, Calif. The PGA West Stadium Course is the annual home of The American Express.
The Cowgirls return to Fort Worth, Texas Mar. 24-25 to compete in the spring segment of the Charles Schwab Women's Collegiate Challenge. The Colonial Country Club is the PGA's longest-tenured original site, having hosted the Charles Schwab Challenge every year since 1946.
OSU closes out regular-season competition at the Dallas Athletic Club – site of their 2023 Big 12 Championship victory – for the Veritex Bank Collegiate, Apr. 7-8.
The Cowgirls will be shooting for a third conference title in five years when they travel to The Club at Houston Oaks (Hockley, Texas) for the 2025 Big 12 Championship, Apr. 15-17.
NCAA Regional play runs from May 5-7 at various sites. Last season the Cowgirls punched their 25th NCAA Championship ticket with a record-setting 15-under final round.
Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, Calif. will once again play host to the final site, May 17-22.
