March 26, 2024 | Cowgirl Golf
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State women's golf upped its impressive incoming class to four signees, with Rylee Roberts signing her National Letter of Intent on Tuesday, head coach Greg Robertson announced.
Roberts enters Stillwater carrying a strong in-state track record while also ranking No. 565 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.
"We are very excited to have Rylee joining us as part of the 2024 class," Robertson said. "Along with Lucy Darr, it will be great to have two of Oklahoma's top players coming in at the same time. She has a lot of potential, especially with her length off the tee.
"She'll be a nice fit for the program and will help create even more competitiveness amongst the team."
Roberts has been a prominent figure in Oklahoma high school golf, earning a host of accolades at Edmond North High School. Competing on varsity each season, Roberts helped the Huskies to the 2021 OSSAA 6A State Championship as a freshman and earned the Class 6A Individual Championship as a sophomore.
This month, Roberts took home individual champion honors at the 6A State Preview, the Edmond North Invitational and the Lady Sabercat Invitational.
Roberts also impressed in her trio of AJGA events this past summer with two top 20 finishes, highlighted by a 14th-place finish at the Talor Gooch Foundation Junior Championship with rounds of 77-75-74.
Roberts joins Tarapath Panya (Bangkok, Thailand), Lucy Darr (Stillwater, Okla.) and Summer Lee (Plano, Texas) as members of the Cowgirls' strong quartet of signees.
