Cowboy Tennis Set to Host No. 20 Memphis

The Basics
The 24th-ranked Oklahoma State's men's tennis team (11-2 overall) will look to extend its seven-match winning streak following a pair of victories over Tulane on Feb. 21 and Wichita State on Feb. 25. The Cowboys will face back-to-back top-20 opponents, starting with No. 20 Memphis on Saturday at 3 p.m. before taking on No. 13 San Diego on March 10, both at the Greenwood Tennis Center.
OSU boasts an 11-2 record, the best start to a season since 2016. The Greenwood Tennis Center remains a hostile environment for opponents, with the Pokes holding a 116-33 all-time record, and an 9-1 mark this season.

Oklahoma State appeared at No. 24 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's latest rankings. OSU's court one player, Tyler Zink, notched his fourth-consecutive appearance in the rankings during the 2023-24 season. His ranking marks the first time a Cowboy has appeared in the top-15 since Oleksandr Nedovyesov was ranked 11th nationally on May 28, 2010. Alex Garcia, a graduate senior out of Leon, Spain, also earned a top-50 ranking. No. 49 Garcia has eight wins to his name in singles action, including a ranked win over MTSU's No. 47 Marcel Kamrowski.
The Cowboys also earned a ranking on the doubles side. Zink and Isaac Becroft appeared No. 24, going 8-2 in the fall, securing four matches in a row to win the ITA Fall Regionals in Stillwater.
