Cowgirls to Conclude Fall Season with Multi-Meet Road Trip

The Basics
The No. 4 Oklahoma State equestrian team travels west for a multi-meet weekend against Big 12 opponent No. 7 Fresno State and ECAC foe UC Davis. The Cowgirls are 1-1 on the road this season.
OSU leads the series against Fresno State 16-3, having won the last three matchups. The Cowgirls are 5-0 against UC Davis and look to complete the season sweep of UC Davis on Saturday.
About the Cowgirls
Head coach Larry Sanchez, in his 26th year at the helm, leads the Cowgirls alongside sixth-year assistant Laura Brainard, third-year assistant Carter Anderson, second-year assistant Alle Durkin and consultant Jody Brainard.
Conference Leaders
The Cowgirls went 4-2 against Big 12 opponents last season, including two wins on their way to the program's first ever conference championship four-peat, something no team in the Big 12 had previously accomplished.

The Cowgirls earned three more MOPs against SMU this past weekend. The Cowgirls have earned at least three MOP honors in five of six meets this season.

Who to Watch
- The Cowgirls swept the Big 12 monthly awards for the first time in program history in October. Riley Hogan was named Fences and Flat Rider of the Month. Claire McDowall earned the award in Horsemanship, while Quincee Clark received the Big 12 Reining Co-Rider of the Month.
- Senior Riley Hogan picked up two wins against SMU. She now has 56 combined career wins and is tied for third place in OSU history for combined career wins. Her Fences win was the 37th in the event, moving her into a tie for the most in Cowgirl history for Fences. She also scored a new career-high 89.5 in Flat this season at TCU.
- Claire McDowall has started off the season with a 5-1 record and earned MOP honors in four of six rides. She earned her 35th career win against SMU. She currently sits at fifth place in OSU history for Horsemanship wins. Coming off her second consecutive All-American selection, she looks to add to one of the highest win totals in Horsemanship in Cowgirl history.
- Senior Quincee Clark is 4-2 on the season. She has 26 career wins in Reining and has an average score of 70.55 this season. The captain has earned an MOP this season against TCU.
- June Roberson earned another point for the Cowgirls last weekend and is 5-0-1 on the season. She is averaging a score of 75.21 in Horsemanship this season. She scored a season-high 77.75 against SMU and will look to continue her hot start to the season. The junior was named to the All-Championship Horsemanship team at the NCEA Championship and earned Big 12 Rider of the Month in March last season.
- Freshman Gable Gering scored a 91.5 in Flat against SMU. Her score was the highest score by any OSU freshman in the event. Her Flat score was half a point away from tying the school record in the event.
- Graduate Hannah Dodd scored a 92 in Flat against UC Davis, tying OSU's program record for the second time in her career.
