Meet the Field (11 Teams)
No. 15 Wake Forest, No. 19 Texas A&M, No. 21 Oklahoma State, No. 23 TCU, No. 24 Baylor, No. 33 Kentucky, No. 39 Oklahoma, No. 45 Texas Tech, No. 64 SMU, No. 100 Tulsa, No. 112 Rutgers.
Pokes in the Rankings
The Cowgirls are ranked No. 21 in the nation and Grace Kilcrease is currently ranked No. 12 in the second NCAA rankings.
The No. 21-ranking is the highest OSU has been ranked since September of 2023, when they were No. 19. The 21st-ranked Cowgirls have claimed a runner-up title at the Dale McNamara Invitational and have placed well in stacked fields. They slot in as the third highest ranked Big 12 school, sitting behind newcomers, No. 8 and No. 9 Arizona and Arizona State, respectively.
Kilcrease moved into the No. 12 spot after winning the Carmel Cup and breaking the school record for low round with a 63 at the Schooner Fall Classic. In addition, the junior transfer from Tulsa has placed top 10 in all four tournaments this season, the first Cowgirl to secure four straight top-10's since Maddison Hinson-Tolchard in the 2022-23 season.
In addition to the Cowgirls opening the season with a top-25 ranking, sophomore Ellie Bushnell came in as another top 100 golfer for the Pokes. She improved nine spots from the last rankings, moving to No. 84 in the nation after a career-tying-low round of 67 in round two of the Dale McNamara Invitational.
The Lineup
The Pokes send out five of their best, being the only lineup in the field with all top-200 individually ranked competitors.
Kilcrease headlines the Cowgirls lineup for Fort Worth. She's going for her fifth-straight top 10. If she notches the placement, she'll have the longest streak by a Cowgirl since Isabella Fierro in 2020-21 season, who claimed six straight top 10's. Fierro also did it to open the season.
No. 84-ranked Bushnell and Thitaporn Saithip follow behind Kilcrease, both having solid fall seasons. Saithip claimed her career-best finish with a fifth-place placement at the Dale McNamara Invitational.
Freshmen close out the lineup for OSU. Summer Lee, who has played in every tournament this Fall, looks to claim her second top 10 of the season, while Tarapath Panya looks to build off her tie for seventh at the Dale McNamara Inviational.
Lucy Darr, also playing in her first year, is back in action for the first time since September, this time competing as the lone individual for the Cowgirls.
