Cowgirl Soccer Hosts Mizzou In Preseason Exhibition

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State will host Missouri in a preseason exhibition match Saturday at 7 p.m. at Neal Patterson Stadium.

Admission is free for all fans.

The match will stream on ESPN+ with Mike Wolfe and Anna Beffer on the call and will also air on Stillwater Radio KGFY 105.5 FM and The Varsity Network app with Bill Van Ness calling the action.

OSU Notes

The Cowgirls are coming off an 11-4-4 season in 2022 in which they finished fifth in the Big 12 standings with a 4-2-3 mark.
Five starters return from a year ago – Xcaret Pineda, Mollie Breiner, Megan Haines, Alex Morris and Gracie Bindbeutel (out for 2023 with injury).
OSU was picked to finish seventh in the 14-team Big 12 in a preseason vote of the conference's head coaches.
The Cowgirls' 29-player roster includes 13 newcomers, including 10 freshmen and three transfers.
OSU opens the regular season Thursday when it hosts Stephen F. Austin at 7 p.m. at NPS.

Missouri Notes

Missouri has already played a preseason exhibition, defeating Memphis on the road by a 2-0 count on Aug. 7.
The Tigers went 5-8-4 in 2022 under head coach Stefanie Golan, who is entering her third season at the helm.
Mizzou returns eight players who started at least 10 games a year ago, including goalie Bella Hollenbach, who played all 1,530 minutes in goal in 2022.
