AUGUSTA, Ga. – No. 16 Oklahoma State women's golf finished seventh at the Valspar Augusta Invitational after the third round of play was suspended due to inclement weather on Sunday.

The Cowgirls shot an 8-over 296 in yesterday's opening round, but rebounded with a strong 289 to place them two shots back of sixth-place South Florida.

With the suspension, Maddison Hinson-Tolchard secured her fourth top-10 outing of the season in a tie for sixth. On Saturday, the standout junior carded a 1-under 71 in the first round before signing off on a bogey-free 70 in the second.

Freshman Thitaporn Saithip finished tied for 22nd at 2-over in her first start of the spring season, largely due to her 71 in the second round.

Hailey Jones and Clemence Martin both finished the weekend tied 38th at 5-over, while Han-Hsuan Yu rounded out the Cowgirl lineup in a tie for 65th at 12-over.

The Cowgirls will return to action for the Clemson Invitational in Sunset, S.C. at Reserve at Lake Keowee Golf Course on March 24-26,
