The Basics

Oklahoma State's men's tennis team will look to ride the momentum of its 4-3 victory over Washington into the second road trip of the season. The Cowboys take on two out-of-conference foes in No. 21 Middle Tennessee State and Vanderbilt. OSU is coming off of a close win, losing the doubles point to Washington, but rallied to take four out of six singles matches.

Cowboy senior Tyler Zink finished last season ranked No. 122 in singles by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. OSU appeared in the ITA rankings eight times a season ago, with its highest ranking at No. 49 on March 23. Zink and Alex Garcia also appeared in the doubles top 100 rankings with their respective partners to end the 2022 season.

Series History

Oklahoma State is 0-1 all time against MTSU, with the last meeting, a 4-2 OSU loss, a season ago. The Pokes lead the all-time series against Vanderbilt, 2-0, with the last meeting in 2009. The Cowboys will look to claim a pair of victories as they hit the road.
