Four Cowgirls Earn WGCA All-American Scholar Team Honors

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. ---- Oklahoma State women's golf had four Cowgirls named to the 2021-22 Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team, it was announced Tuesday.

Lianna Bailey, Han-Hsuan Yu, Maddison Hinson-Tolchard and Rina Tatematsu, along with a total of 1,485 women's collegiate golfers, were recognized with this prestigious honor.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.

This marked the second-straight year Oklahoma State has had at least four Cowgirls earn the honor as Yu, Hinson-Tolchard and Tatematsu all earned spots on last year's team.

OSU was one of four to earn a Big 12-best four selections (OSU, TCU, Baylor and Kansas). As a program, Oklahoma State has now earned 59 All-American Scholar awards while head coach Greg Robertson has had 12 during his three seasons in Stillwater.
