STILLWATER – Six members of the Oklahoma State wrestling team were recognized as Scholar All-Americans by the National Wrestling Coaches Association on Friday.

Daton Fix (University Studies) earned his third Scholar All-America honor after doing so in 2019 and 2021, as well. True freshman Carter Young (Undeclared), sophomores Trevor Mastrogiovanni (Entrepreneurship), Dustin Plott (Agribusiness) and Luke Surber (Undeclared) and junior Gavin Stika (Agribusiness) each earned the honor for the first time in their careers.

The six All-America selections is tied for the eighth most among all Division 1 teams and is a program high, surpassing the five selections of 2014 and 2016.

This year's individual Scholar All-America teams featured 289 individuals representing 74 institutions. The list also includes 188 national qualifiers, 56 All-Americans, 13 national finalists and 6 national champions.
