Cowgirl Golf Set To Open MountainView Collegiate This Weekend

STILLWATER – No. 5 Oklahoma State women's golf returns to the course this weekend for the MountainView Collegiate at the Mountain View Golf Club in Tucson, Arizona.
The Cowgirls won the individual and team titles at this event in 2021. OSU's team 54-hole score of 844 was the second best in tournament history for an event that dates back to 1999.
The 54-hole tournament is set to tee off Friday with a 10 a.m. CT shotgun start for the first 18 holes, followed by two 18-hole rounds played on Saturday and Sunday at the par-72, 6,352-yard layout.
The 16-team tournament features Big 12 opponents Kansas State, Iowa State, Oklahoma, TCU and Texas Tech in addition to Missouri, Arkansas, Florida, Houston, North Texas, San Jose State, Southern Mississippi, Texas A&M, Tulsa and UNLV. 90 student-athletes will be competing for the individual championship.

- Live scoring will be available on birdiefire.com and the team's social media as it becomes available.
- Oklahoma State finished third for the third-straight tournament after posting an 854 at the Florida Gators Invitational on March 5-6. OSU has yet to finish a tournament outside the top-3 in the standings after winning its first four tournaments to start the year.
- In her eight appearances for Oklahoma State this season, Maddison Hinson-Tolchard has averaged a score of 70.95 in 21 rounds of work in her sophomore season. She notably won the Rapsodo Match In the Desert back on Jan. 23 and has recorded seven top-20 finishes.
- Han-Hsuan Yu has five tournament appearances this season for the Cowgirls, with an average score of 72.27 in her 15 rounds. She's notably finished in the top-10 in back-to-back tournaments (ICON Invitational and Florida Gators Invitational).
- Clemence Martin has come out strong to start her freshman campaign in Stillwater with an average score of 71.88 in her 17 rounds of play. She's posted five top-20 finishes and three rounds in the 60s.
- Lianna Bailey has traveled with the Cowgirls to six tournaments this season with an average score of 73.06 in 17 rounds. She's earned four top-20 finishes and three rounds in the 60s.
- Hailey Jones recorded her first collegiate tournament win at the Dale McNamara Invitational this season. Jones has carded a 73.47 scoring average in six tournament appearances.
