Cowboy Tennis Headed to Chapel Hill for NCAA Action

Stillwater, Okla. - The 18th-ranked Oklahoma State men's tennis team will travel to Chapel Hill, N.C. for the first and second rounds of the NCAA Championship it was announced this evening. OSU will face Navy on Saturday afternoon at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.

The Cowboys (9-11 overall, 1-4 Big 12) will make their seventh-straight NCAA Championship appearance, matching the best run in program history. OSU also had a stretch of NCAA appearances from 2003-09. This will mark the Cowboys' 24th NCAA appearance overall, dating back to 1978.

The squad has advanced to the second round in 15 of their 23 previous appearances with 2019 being the last time they have done so.

OSU is coming off a 1-1 performance at the Big 12 Championship. The Cowboys defeated Texas Tech, 4-3, to advance to the semifinals and a matchup with Texas, who ended OSU's run with a 4-0 victory
